My grandmother's aunt was known as Tiny Alice Bland (according to her). Looking at census documents, she is listed as Mary T. Jackson and Tina Jackson. Her parents were Warner W. Jackson and Sarah Eldridge and she had a brother named Romey England Jackson. Grandma remembers that she had cousins named Tisha and Lisa Bland. This would have been around Monroe County, KY around 1890-1900ish.
Is this ringing a bell for anyone? I'd love to know the name of the BLAND she married and if Tisha and Lisa are nicknames, etc.
