Go to http://ssdi.rootsweb.ancestry.com. When this site comes up, input:
Bland (last name)
John (first name)
H (middle name or initial. Hurvey won't work.)
This will bring up 11 names. Concentrate on the ones who were born in the 1920s and the 1930s. See where the Social Security Card was issued and where the last benefits or home address was. Does this help any?
