Cousin Charles:

Sorry Charles but Colonel Henry Lee who was born about 1691 and resided at "Lee Hall" on the Potomac married Mary Bland the daughter of Colonel Richard Bland of the Jordans.They had four children as follows:

1. John Lee
2. Richard Lee
3. Henry Lee
4. Laetitia Lee

It was their son Henry Lee who married Lucy Grymes amd by her had 8 children. Their first child was Henry "Light Horse Harry" Lee who was the father of Robert Edward Lee.

Henry "Light Horse Harry" Lee was married twice 1st to Matilda Lee by whom he had 4 children and 2nd to Ann Hill Carter by whom he had 6 children. It was Ann Hill Carter who gave birth to General Robert Edward Lee.
