Linda,
I live in Montgomery Co, too (The Woodlands). My maiden name is Bland, but I come from the northeast Texas bunch (Harrison Co./San Augustine & Marshall). I am also from the Edgefield Co., SC group, but my Talton Bland seems to disappear there. He was born there in 1800, but can't pinpoint his father. If you ever run across him in your searches, let me know!
