If I had read the rest of the messages in this thread before posting one, I would have found my question answered.
Roland "Rollie" Bland md. Sarah Ann "Sally" Fogle, widow of Lewis K. Thomas, Nov. 2, 1824, Washington Co., KY.
She was b. July 5, 1795, Nelson Co., KY, so must have been much younger than her 2nd husband.
She had 4 children from her first marriage:
Letitia E. Thomas, b. ca. 1816, md. Lodowick M. Daugherty, Sept. 1, 1834, Hardin Co., KY.
Diana Peretta Thomas, b. Feb. 7, 1818, md. Elbert H. Robinson, April 25, 1835, Hardin Co., KY.
Joseph B. Thomas, b. ca. 1819 in KY, md. Alice Roof, Jan. 25, 1845, Hardin Co., KY.
William M. "Mack" Thomas, b. ca. 1821 in KY, md. 1) Zerelda Lucas before 1842, md. 2) Lucinda Lucas, July 20, 1849, Hardin Co., KY.
Sarah and Roland "Rollie" Bland were the parents of
Thomas Roland Bland, b. June 29, 1825, in KY, md. Sarah Robinson, Nov. 7, 1846, Hardin Co., KY.
Sarah md. 3) Israel W. Standiford (Sr.), July 11, 1836, Hardin Co., KY, and had 2 more children, Israel (Jr.) and Sarah Ann Standiford.
Does the will abstract give the date that the will was written? Probated Aug. 8, 1825, I take it he died in July 1825?
