Isaac Bland was my gggrandmother's brother. They were from the Rutherford County N.C. area, which is along the S.C. border. Isaac lived in Murray County Georgia before moving to Arkansas. Prior to living in Murray Co.(1860) he lived in Walker Co. Ga. (1850) After his sister's husband, Benson Davis died, Hannah Bland Davis and her children moved back to Murray Co. from St. Clair Co. Alabama. Isaac was also a Confederate soilder. He deserted the army and stayed north of the Ohio River until the war was over.Do you know of any Davis's living around the Bland's? Maybe a William Z.? Did Isaac live the rest of his life in Arkansas? I need more info on him! TOMMYGD11@aol.com
