My side of the Bland family is from George Bland @1757 Beauford County, N. C. 2nd wife Prudence ? I believe he had 2 sons. one John and Theophilus, sr. 4-14-1768 Pitt Co. Nc. died 7-4-1832. There may have been another son William (uncertain) I am interested in the Theophilus Sr., Sarah Joiner side They had 12 children. Levin 1798, Mary Ann 1802 Theophilus, Jr 1807, Issac 1810, Wm. Henry 1842, Ely 1815, mary 1820, John 1821, Elizabeth Thulina Sarah and Highland, died 1857. Highland was my gg grandfather, he married Sallie Jane (Bell ?) 1826. They lived in shelby county, Tn. I would love to find any other information about any of the family, especially Highland.
or Sallie Jane. She later married a John Henry Kuhl. She died in 1934. and is buried in Bland Cemetery in Shelby County.
