Dear Cousin Linda, thanks for writing me. I just got
back to work on January 7, in a new office and my computer was just installed and e-mail isn't up yet. New E-mail will be cbland@acsu.buffalo.edu. I expect it will be up by the end of this week, but its slow because of heavy snows and irregular work schedule, tecky hasn;t come to install the e-mail and other features of the computer. I'm also having some problem typing on this source so you might get several partial messages. The 1999 Reunion will be at Lancaster, Near Lexington KY on Auguts 6-8, 1999 and if you send me your address, I will be sure to send you proper notification about May 99. Also, yes I do have volumes 1-14 of the Newsletter and the rate is $20. per volume for 1-13 and $18. for volume 14, plus $20. for the index of Volumes 1-10.
11-14 are not indexed yet. 1-5 are indexed as part of the cost of the individual newsletters. So the total for the Newsletters is $298. Also, if you are that keen on genealogy, you would want a copy of my book, which is $79.95. Inasmuch as you are from the Edgefield County Family, I recommend you also purchase a document that indexes and identifies the substance of all the Bland family references at the Edgefield County SC Courthouse, which I compiled in a trip to Edgefield county in 1987. The total for all that is $397.95. If you'd like to discuss, feel free to call me at 716-832-5263 (nights are better). My mailing address is Box 1002, Amherst New York, 14226. I'd look forward to hearing from you. I had planned to start printing copies of the book tomorrow, but will hold it up until Jan 25 because of the delay with bad weather and my lack of communications ability. I look forward to hearing from you. Were you at the 1996 Reunion in Orange Co. Texas? Did I meet you?

Sincerely

Cousin Charles L. Bland
