Connie,
I, too, am a descendant of Derinda Ann Bland and Origin C. Robinson. Married Feb. 5, 1871 in Pike Co., Indiana I found them in the 1880 census in Marion Twp, Pike Co., Indiana. Their children are Sarah, Robert Franklin (1872)(my great grandfather), Origin Comodore (1878), James Willis (1883), Charles Matthew (1889), Clarence Louie (1893). According to Origin C. Robinson III, Origin I was born out of wedlock and was indentured to a farmer at the age of 12. He ran away and joined the Northern Army when he was sixteen. He was captured and spent many months in prison. Origin and Derinda moved to Ark. around 1894. Derinda applied for military pension benefits in July 1898. She is found in Piney Fork Township, Sharp Co., Ark. in 1900. Origin was deceased. She was then found in 1910 in same twp with only one son.

I'm sorry that I don't have alot of other information. Hope this helps.

Carol
