"Peggy" Margaret BLAND, b. 1763 Stafford Co., VA, d. ca. 2 Jul 1850 Kemper Co., MS, m. 25 Oct 1786 in
Randolph Co., NC, William NEEDHAM, b. 1766 Randolph Co., NC (age 84-1850 Census), d. after 1850 Kemper
Co., MS.
Peggy was the dau. of Moses BLAND, b. 1718 VA, d. after 10 Dec 1799 (Will date)(Prb. May 1800 WB-2/60)
Randolph Co., NC, m. 14 Jan 1750 Overwharton Parish, Stafford Co., VA, Jane WIGGINTON, b. ca. 1725 Stafford
Co., VA, d. after 1800.
Trying to find proof that the Peggy BLAND who m. William NEEDHAM is the same Peggy BLAND who was the
dau. of Moses BLAND. Moses' Will lists his daughters & names Peggy, but doesn't give their married surnames.
His estate papers are not in the NC Archives or County . Does anyone know if there is a family bible for this
family? These BLANDs & NEEDHAMs lived in the same area of Randolph Co., NC. Peggy's sister, Nancy
BLAND, m. 1790 in Randolph Co., NC, John William NEEDHAM, Jr., brother of Willian who m. Peggy.
