Bernie,
That book is a sore subject. My mom and I have worked on the Blands since 1959 when she started it. She "gave" a great deal on the Abel Bland line to Mr. C. Bland before his book was published that he "sold" to our cousins out there. I am sorry, but I give free info to my fellows not charge them for it. You may note Mr. Bland rarely posts info, but instead asks to be emailed or says he will email you the info. I say... why not share it on the board. Sorry to be so stuffy, but it rubs me the wrong way.

PS There are also LOTS of errors in that book.
