We are trying to trace the following :
Joseph Napoleon Bland (born 1819) married a Jane Dulling (Born 1822).
They had several children , including 3 boys named Arthur James Bland(1847), Frank Bland(1851) and James Fox Bland(1855). The Family moved from the UK to New Zealand in 1854 on a ship called the Eagle and they stayed there for Approx 18 months before returning to the UK. The father we believe died on board.
His brother James Fox Bland(1827) was in the 76th Regiment (1846) and served in Canada, the Ionain Islands and Malta and married a Francis Dakar Bezelgelte.
The only son that we can find is Arthur James Bland who is burried at Billericay in Essex.
