In a book titled: "A Vision of Unity - The Bland Family in England and America 1555-1900" by Charles L. Bland there is a rather extensive write up about an Edward Bland who came to America around 1646. This book has somne 609 pages of Genealogical Information on just about every Bland Family that came to this country. It can be reviewed at just about any library with a major Genealogical Section.I have my own copy.
