Thanks for your reply. Yes, I believe we are on the same hunt!! James Bland was also my g-g-grandfather through Isaac’s and Anna’s (Ann? Annie?) daughter, Cynthia May. There seems to be some confusion about wedding dates for Isaac and Anna and whether or not she was a Hearne or Hevean. It’s possible that confusion occurred due to handwriting translation, but I have both a 4/15/1838 wedding date for Isaac and Ann Hevean, and a 4/11/1838 date for Isaac and Annie Hearne. Both in Wythe Co, VA. Do you have a clue as to the correct date/name?
