BLAND + lITTLETON CONNECTION
Posted by: Sandra McKinley Date: October 18, 1998 at 22:38:40

I'm looking for the BLAND/LITTLETON connection ca early 1700's. I have a Littleton Bland Sandlin in my line and this family always names the first born son after the grandfather or the mother's maiden name. My Littleton was b. ca 1770, SC. His mother was Mourning. His father was Randolph Sandlin, Sr. Anyone have a Mourning in their tree b. ca 1740? I'd like to be able to put a name with Mourning and get the answer to the riddle of where the Littleton Bland came from. We have lots of Littletons and Blands from here down, this apprears to be the first. Thanks for you help.
