I am also working on the Bland's, & Shaffer's. Rosa Caroline Shaffer married Hugh Pinkney Miller, their dau. was Mary Dorothey "Pinkney" Miller. She married Joseph Henry Bland. I would love to share info. on our ancestor's. Rosa Caroline married 2'nd to George Polk Clegg. They are buried at Spring Valley Cem. near Mathiston,Ms. I'm very interested in these names, can you send me a GED file on your Bland's? I can help you alot on these surnames! I am also decended through Joseph Henry Bland family. Joseph's parent's was Robert Galbreath Bland,& Frances Morgan Wilkinson. All of them lived in Webster Co.,Ms. Robert had a bro. named; Allen P. Bland, he married Martha A.E. Ferguson. She was a sister to my Gr.Gr.Grandmother, Sarah E. Alice Ferguson. Sarah married Albert Shaffer, bro. to Rosa Caroline "Shaffer" Miller Clegg!
