I am seeking information about a line of Blands which were
living in Mecklenburg County in the very early 19th century.
Samuel, there in 1820 and 1830, was the son of Merritt or Merriot, who was the son of another Samuel, who possibly
was the immigrant to Virginia from England.
A son of the later, Mecklenburg County, Samuel was Williamson
who migrated to Wilson County, Tennessee, around 1840.
