Hi Natalie,

I just came back on this forum and I hope you're still around. As near as i have been able to tell, the Blanco name originated in northern Spain and I have seen some info that says it might have migrated over the Pyrenees from France. As far as your concern that you don't look "spanish" don't worry, most all my relatives on the Blanco side of the family range from very fair skinned to blonde with light eyes, including my children. Hope this helps.
