Gaida - I have looked at my notes and compared them with yours. I can add the marriage of Teresa Mary Blanchfield and Robert Daglish: 7 Feb 1895 at the Roman Catholic Presbytery, Coburg [source: affidavit of a Melbourne law clerk tracing Daglish links in the 1940s]. I agree that Daglish is found in many spellings. Much wrong information was given by family members to Registrars etc about names, dates etc, according to the same clerk, including variations on Peirce and the second names of the two Teresas.
The Daglish burials at Altona cemetery are detailed online and I have emailed asking if there are any inscriptions.
Some weeks ago I downloaded lists of Daglish B M & D from the web, but cannot get back into the site. Any suggestions?
Thanks again for help.
Richard
