I am looking for information about the family of my 6th gr grandmother, Marh Blanchett. She was born ~1760 in Nute (later Warren) Co, NC. She died in 1830 in Todd Co, KY. On Jul 25, 1780 she married Robert Eaton Acock, Sr in Bute/ Warren Co, NC. Robert fought in the Revolutionary War for 2 1/2 years. He enlisted as a private on April 10,1778 in the North Carolina Third Infantry (Turner Company). He was discharged on October 19, 1778 in Connecticut after he fought in the battles of Brandywine and Germantown. Revolutionary War Pension, June 3, 1819, Todd County, KY Robert and Mary had at least 10 children, perhaps 12: Judith, Sarah (Sally), William B, Hery, Allen, Winifred, John, Robert Eaton, Jr., Ransom, Thomas, Frances (Maybe) and Ann (maybe). They moved to Christian Co, KY in the early 1800s and lived there (or in the part of Christian Co that became Todd Co in 1819) until their deaths. They lived on the Elk Fork of the Red River. Their daughter Sally married Stephen Talkington and had 56 children, one of whom was Edward Pennington Talkington, my GGGGgrandfather. I believe that Mary's father's name was Thomas and that his father was John but am not sure. I would love to know more about this branch of the Blanchett family.
