George was the son of Isaac G. Blanchard and Eunice Beals. He was born at East Stoughton, MA ib 07-10-1826. He married Sophia Ann Littlefield at Stoughton on 03-01-1851. They resided for some time in the City of New York where most of their children were born. Eventually (c. 1860) they returned to MA. They had 5 known children; Emma (1851), Frank (1853), Ida (1855), Carrie (1859) and Edith (1863). Ida and Edith died young. Can anyone tell me what happened to the other children?
