I searching for any information or family links on William Blanchard.
William Blanchard, the Son of a French merchant migrating to the United States in early 1800's, found his way to Northeastern Mississippi county of Monroe around 1845. He became the Overseer of the Lenoir Plantation, a cotton plantation that covered most of this county. William was killed in his bed by revolting slaves in 1861.
