Shirley, I'm looking for a John Blanchard who married in Cass Co Iowa Ella/Ellena Ardelia Carey/Cary. In 1867 when Ella's father died (Dr Henry S. Carey), she is listed as Mrs John Blanchard living in Pender NE. I can find no record of this family anywhere tho I know he died 14 Mar 1897 in Pender and his mother-in-law, Margaret E. Chapman Cary died in Pender the same year but in November. I do not even know if they had children. This John Blanchard was born abt 1830. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
