Searching for the desc/o Benjamin Franklin Pitt & Jane A Blanchard. Benjamin, the s/o John W Pitt & Hannah Walling, probably was born about 1825 + - a few years. Jane was born in 1830, at Pownal, VT and died in 1868 and is buried in the Gardner Cemetery at Pownal, VT. She was the d/o William R Blanchard. Benjamin sometimes was referred to as B F. In 1877, he was a farmer in Section 3, Roscoe Twp, Winnebago Co., IL (P.O. address Beloit, WI) in 1877. The children of B F and Jane were Edgar larson (died in teens), Walling (born 26 Sep 1857, Pownal, Vt) and Charles W. Possibly, Walling & Charles W are one and the same.
