Jean,
I am looking for a Phebe Blanchard who is my great great grandmother. She married Horace Woodbridge. I located in the IGI on www.familysearch.com a Phebe Blanchard b. 20 dec 1812, dau of James and Phebe Carter Blanchard of Greensboro, Orleans, Vermont. I do not know if this is my line. What I do know is that a James Blanchard signed the land papers of Horace and Phebe in Racine County, Wisconsin.

This will help you. Also I know that a Syris Blanchard was also in Elkhart County, Indiana at the same time as Horace and Phebe which was 1833.

So if it does work out that this is my line please e-mail me.

Myrna
