Thomas MOODY who m. Barbara BLAMIRE in England?

I am searching for more info on the Thomas MOODY who married a Barbara BLAMIRE in Cumberland Co., England in the 1700's.
There is some link to Barbados and British Columbia, Canada and the Royal Engineers, but what I would like to know more importantly is, were these MOODY's from Scotland originally?
The IGI records on the LDS site (family search . org) shows that there were several Scottish families in this area (Arthuret, Dalston, Carlisle etc.) of Cumb. Co., England and several of these families including the TRAILL's, GRAHAM's, FERGUSON's, HAMILTON's, JACKSON's, HUTCHINSON's etc. whose names I found within these records all link to our Ydna MOODY's via intermarriage, but our Moody's appear to have come out of Scotland to Nor. Ireland to Nor. America. Our earliest known Ydna MOODY ancestor was Thomas MOODY b.c1710 in/of Aghadowey, Co. L'derry, Nor. Ireland who married Jean McQUISTON daughter of Benjamin McQUISTON. The McQuiston's/McCuiston's (loads of spellings on this name) were Scottish and the majority of the families that our known Ydna Moody's married into were also Scottish (LESLIE's, GETTY's/GEDDES, HOGG's, Jackson's, Hamilton's, Wilson's, etc. etc.).
However the similarities between our ydna Thomas MOODY's family line and that of the Thomas Moody family of Cumberland Co., England sure seems awfully familiar.
That's why I'm wondering if anyone knows if the Thomas MOODY line of England has been Ydna tested yet and if so what was your HaloType? Ours has been specifically Norse-Celtic.
The MOODIE's/Mudie's of North Eastern Scotland and the Orkney's claim to be of Norwegian ancestry early on and so far our small branch of Moody's are the only ones with Specific Norse markers (per Dr. Ken Nordtvedt's and others terrific research). This makes me believe that if the Moodie/Mudie genealogy of those families from North eastern Scotland is even remotely correct, that our branch must descend from them as well. So far we do Not share any Ydna with the numerously ydna tested lines of Moody's that do claim lineage back to England.
There are more of them than anything in our Moody Ydna surname project.
Any info regarding these Moody's of Cumberland Co. England would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You.
