Thank you so very much for taking the time to respond to my query to you. I like the way you work AND your willingness to admit that we can sometimes be wrong even when working with primary sources. Rare qualities.

I can't say I know any more now about my John Blalock (d. 1790 Newberry Co) than before writing but feel comforted knowing there are still some conscientious "diggers" out there.

Please keep my line in mind and should any new and revealing information unveil itself, please let me know!.
