To further clarify, there were very few Blalock wills. Most of them died intestate (no will) and these were estate records - most of them with petitions to the court to name administrators to settle the estates. The record of David S. Blalock in Orange was actually an estate record, as he died intestate. Candiss (Candace) first petitioned the State and then she and her children petitioned the State.
