I would imagine with all the delays in Anna Hawkins Blalock's claim for a pension on the service of Thomas, she was dead before actual payment was made.I have transcribed the NC voucher in payment.

North Carolina voucher #4323; Ann Blalock, widow of Thomas Blalock who died on the 27 July 1826, of Person Co. in the State of N. Ca. who was a private in the company commanded by Captain Mebane of the __(blank)__ commanded by ___(blank)____in the North Carolina line for 12 months.
Inscribed on the Roll of North Carolina at the rate of 40 dollars and _(blank)_ cents per annum, to commence on the 4th day of March 1831.
Certificate of Pension issued the 24 day of Jany 1846 and sent to Hon. J. R. J. Daniel, H. R.
Arrears to the 4th of Sept. 1845 - $580.00; semi-annual allowance ending (4 months?):$20.00:total $600.00
