Katy Blalock was listed as a child in the will of John Cash, Sr., Person County, NC, 12 Feb. 1810. Lucretia is listed as the wife of John Cash, Sr., with the other children, Miriam Morrow, Mary Blalock, Betsy Oakley, Tiracha Owens, Holly Hash, and Clary Cash, Becka Oakley, Moses Cash, Aaron Cash, John Cash, Benjamin Cash. Daniel Cash, Michael Cash. Moses and John Cash were named executors and witnesses were Samuel Dickens and John Hill. Benjamin Cash, son of John Cash, Sr., reportedly moved to Spartanburg District, South Carolina about 1800. His brothers Aaron, Moses and Daniel later joined him. For this reason, I believe John Blalock, son of Millington, left Person County, as well. It is true that Anderson Balock, probable son of John, married Phoebe Rimmer in 1821 in Person County, NC. When looking at the map, there was not a great distance between York, Pickens, and Spartanburg Counties of SC and Person County, NC. Anderson would have had family remaining in Person County and it is not out of the question for him to be a son of John son of Millington. 1797, 4 Dec., John Hicks to James Cozart of Orange Co. for 50 lbs, 186A adj.
