I am trying to find descendants of William David Blalock who was a Private in Company C, 6th North Carolina Infantry during the war between the states. He was born 2/1/1835 and died 11/25/1910. He has a badly worn headstone in Maplewood Cemetery in Durham, North Carolina. He and 42 other Confederate soldiers in two sections of the cemetery will be receiving new headstones. There will be a dedication ceremony in May of 2009.
