My own family tree has lead me to a John "Dave" Blalock and Sara Quailes/Quals/Qualls/Quarles but I suspect this couple may be from a different line of Blalocks than mine. Quite awhile back I found this on Ancestory in Mississippi marriages:
Name: James R. Blalock
Spouse: Sarah Quarles
Marriage Date: 02 Nov 1840
County: Winston
but I have no documentation that this couple had a son named James Robert Blalock, who I know to be my great-grandfather. But family interviews have lead me to believe there was a Sara Quailes/Quals/Qualls/Quarles, (although her first name was reported to be Becky) in there about that time. I'd be interested in a line on the Blalock/Quals
Robert, I'm pretty sure I've run across James Hubbard Blalock several times but have never found a connection with my family. And Nicki, my dad lives near Azle (actually Reno but his mail comes to Azle).
