Seeking possible connection to a female surnamed Blakney, as this is the middle name of my grandfather's grandfather, Osmus Blakney Murphy, born 1805, possibly in SC. Speculatively, Osmus and his twin Osburn might have been the sons of the James Murphy who arrived in America on 29 March 1803 aboard the MARS from Dublin Ireland. Considering the possibility that he married a Miss Blakney shortly thereafter. Any clues?
