Hello Nelda, I am Alvis Utley, grandson of Edward and Delane (Lannie Hawkins) Blakney. A few years ago, I was in contact with Jo Soerner (sp) who was researching Edward and Delane, I sent in the sketchy info I have to include an old picture of Delane. I have lost a couple of computers; changed email servers, etc and honestly have lost contact with her, and looks like in and old post she mentions having 4 generations of Blakney info. Wondered if you possibly had current contact for her? My GF and GF Blakney (Edward and Delane) were born in/arounc MCNairy County Tennessee, but lived in Tishomingo and/or Alcorn counties also. Thanks for amy info you might be able to provide. Have all their Children, and some info on Delane, but can't find when/where Edward died/was born and where he's buried.
