As a hobby, I rescue old photos, if there's identification on them. I obtained one, this week, that is of a baby, in a long gown. On the back is actually written two names. Across the front, the photographer's logo, indicates it was taken in Brookings, SD. A search for the first name, yields nothing. The second name, that also indicates a year of death, hit positive in not only the census, but in the WWI registrations and in the S.D. death index. He's identified as Wesley Blakely. On the documents, he's James Wesley Blakely. Parents listed on the census, John and Jennie. The death date wasn't quiet accurate on the back, but if the index is right, it wasn't too far off. I'd like to get this treasure in the hands of family. All I ask is what I paid for it, and approximately $2 for a mailer and postage. Kathy Notify Administrator about this message?
