Ronald - Are you aware that Levi Blakey's first wife was Sarah Elizabeth Barber? They married in Barbour Co., AL. Her father was Joseph Barber. Her brother's death certificate says that their father was Joseph Jackson Barber. Joseph Barber and family lived in Barbour Co., AL on the 1860 and 1870 censuses. His children started coming to TX around 1869-1874. Several went by way of LaFayette Co., AR. Joseph lived in Russell Co., AL in 1850 and Sumter Co., GA in 1840. Is there any connection between Joseph Barber and Nancy Barber Blakey?????? Thanks, Kathy.
