Dear Mary Ann,

Thank you so much for the link to this will, one is never done with this research it seems. Just when I <think> I've found all that is possible I'll find mention of a document but be unable to find it! Ususally at last resort (which should be my first!) I'll post to Genforum and sure enough a genealogy angel will come to my rescue...many thanks. Judith Blakey, the next line down was my g/g/g/g/g/grandmother, Churchill was her father-in-law.

I haven't heard or come across the name Bland Blakey, but the Blakeys were all known for having large families from what I've seen. I have seen the surname "Bland" in some of my other research, this looks like a name given in honor of a maternal surname. (Churchill Blakey was named for his mother, Catherine Churchill.)

I will keep an eye out and let you know if I happen to run across this name. Again, many thanks, this is a treasured addition to my formal history.

Kind regards,
Jane
