Found this in the National Archives
Miarabeau L. Blakey was enlisted 7 oct 1863, Pvt, new Co, F, 1st Ala, inf at Clayton [seat of Barbour Co] by Capt Williams for 3 yrs or the war, Was admitted to Ocmulgee hosp, Macon Ga 5 july 1864 for diarrhea & returned to duty 25 jul 1864. He was captured at Nashville.TN sent top military prison in Louisville, KY and on to Camp Douglas, IL Dec 22, 1964.

My Blakeys were also in AL during this time. So far I have not been able to connect to Mirabeau.
