I beleive Martha is a sibling of my 2nd g-grandfather John T. Blakey. What I have gathered is: Martha M Blakey born about 1828 in Christian county Kentucky to Robert Allen Blakey (b 9 Jan 1802- Virginia, d. 9 Oct 1868-, Vernon, MO). She was one of 8 children Robert had with Grace Malling (b ABT 1803- , Christian Co KY, d. abt 1856- Vernon CO, MO). What little I know of their father Robert Allen Blakey:
From Virginia Robert migrated to Chrisitian County KY. He appears in the 1823 and 1824-5 tax rolls. On December 10, 1830 he patented 160 acres West of the Tenn River in Kentucky. On 31 July 1855 he homesteaded 160 acres in Vernon County MO. Hope this helps.
