The George living next door to Daniel in 1850 @ Steuben Co NY, removed by 1857 for Patch Grove, Grant Co, WI. His family placed a very nice bio on him, in 1901 at Grant County. George was in apprenticeship for Blacksmith, and note that was this George's trade in the 1850 census. George died in the Civil War; May 31, 1862, in St. Louis, MO. I will look forward to reading what you may have found! I am thinking, if Daniel b. 1786 isn't our Samuel's father, perhaps a cousin or Uncle.

Myabe there is a George Blakesely, brother to Daniel perhaps who may be Samuel's father, Daniel's brother...being they both named sons with that name?

Thanks!
Michelle
