Wow! I have been researching the Blakeslees for years and have not been able to find out William Wallace Blakeslee's parent's names. I have been in touch with Avis Blakeslee's relatives (great grandson) in Texas and he has some great photos he has e-mailed. Avis Blakeslee married Frank Young - my great grandfather, Charles Blakeslee, married Frank's sister Annie Young. I figured one of the daughter's in the Blakeslee family might have the information I needed.

Where are you located? I live in North Palm Beach, FL and noticed some of the Doddinton's had moved to FL. I usually spend some time in Michigan in the summer and have a son that lives outside Detroit.

Who was your grandfather? Harold E. married to Charlotte K.?

Was Lily or Fanny a nickname of James' wife - I have seen both names in handwritten notes?

I will be looking forward to hearing from you and hope we can exchange our information.

Sally Grieb
