Blakeney was the son of Alfred Blakeney (1795-Bef 1848)& Margaret McIntosh. His wife was Amanda E. and although they had no children, the estate names his siblilngs and their spouses: Susannah Patterson wife of DAW(Duncan Alexander W.)Patterson, residing in Ms. or in La; Mrs. Mary Blakeney wife of James Blakeney, residing in Ms; Christiana Stoddard wife of James Stoddard residing in Ms; Mrs. Ann Gilmore, Mrs. Elizabeth Horn wife of A.G.Horn who resides in Ms; and Mrs. Margaret Perkins residing in Wilcox Co, Al.
