My husband is also a descendant of Capt. John, through his daughter Jane so do not actually carry the Blakeney name past her. I have more boxed away that I have been unable to find! as I wrote another poster a long while ago. Do have the direct line info on pedigree chart as well as a little more shared by others that has not been input at this point. Would be glad to share this and so very interested in your info past Capt. John.

For his wife, we have "Mary E.?" and offhand cannot tell you where that came from. Another poster (5/10 as follow-up to a Nov)states the tombstone indicates her name is Margaret. I do not know if there was more than one wife; what do you show?

Our line: Jane 1760-1845 m'd. John Welsh 1760-1835 in 1781; their children: Wm, Frances, Jane b. 1783 & Mary b. 1785.

Frances was our ancestor, b. 1782 we think in SC and died 1852. She married Michael Miller, 12/28 1784 Lancaster Co. SC - 12/21 1874 Jefferson, Chesterfield Co. SC on 1/18 1810 Chesterfield Co.

It is the Miller name that is then brought up through current times. Do not know how much of this you are interested in but would be glad to provide all if you are interested in as many Blakeney lines . You may also e-mail me. Sandra
