Hey girl, this is Cindy. Dwayne and Timmy's sister. You wanted some info on your folks' brothers and sisters. I've got some I can give you right now. I've got a lot of pages (100+) that I can copy and mail to you if you want me to. It is more complete than what I've got in front of me right now, but here goes... Capt. John Blakeney (b 1732, Mount Blakeney, Limerick, Ireland, relocated to North Carolina. Is buried in the Blakeney cemetery near Pageland, SC. Served in the SC Congress and served in the Revolutionary War. His children were: Thomas Blakeney, John, Jr., Robert, William, James, Jane, Mary and Hugh (that's where we all come in). Hugh married Nancy Ann Welch. Their children were: Thomas, Nancy, Eleanor, Mary and Jane. Thomas married Martha Matilda Page. Their children were: Hugh (b 1820 in South Carolina) married Nancy Yelverton. Jacob (b 1825 in South Carolina) married Eliza Jernigan. Robert (b 1826 in Smith County) married Annie Blair. Alvin (b 1834 in Smith County) married Lucy Jernigan. Hugh and Nancy's children were: Steven Erasmus (b 1849) and married Amanda Balentine. James Marion (b 1850--my GG Grandfather) married Kizar Elizabeth Waters. Benjamin Franklin (b1854) married Margaret Nichols. Terry (b1852) married Pattie Ainsworth. (b 1862) married Joseph Laird, then Babe Jones. Martha A. (b 1864) married Sibbie Laird.] Albert (b 1865) married Ellen Nichols. Ranson Lafayette (b 1866) married Sarah Nichols. Floyd (b 1871) married Parcenia Blackwell. I'm gonna stray off to my side now: James Marion (My GG Grandfather). His Children: Nora, Minnie, Alonzo, Don, Barney, Albert, Zella, J. Dan (I know you've heard of Dan Blakeney), Lou, and Pearl. Alonzo was my G Grandfather, and married Mollie Atwood. She was 1st cousins to Gayward Atwood and somehow related to Plez Atwood. His children were: Lace, Ethyl, Summerfield, Vardaman (my grandfather, I always wondered where they came up with the name Vardaman), Verdell, Joe, Jewel, John and Jack. I hope this helps. Let me know and if you want me to, I'll send the rest of the info I have to you. Take care. Notify Administrator about this message?
