Hello Dr. MacTavish,

This is too strange to be coincidence. Look at these names! My Thomas Blakeney is not yours, but he must certainly be related. My great aunt, Anne Blakeney Wright also had three children: John (Jack) who grad. from Annapolis and served in WWII, Margaret who taught high school, and Thomas who taught at Georgetown Prep. Their father was head of International Law at Catholic U. and died the same day as FDR. My grandfather served in the Union Army immediately following the Civil War, then worked for the Treasury Dept. in Wash., D. C. My grandmother, Ruth Gwendolyn Austin Blakeney had one son named Thomas. My great grandfather, who said he came from York, was born in 1847. His children were: James Aloysius 1883, Wm. Joseph 1877, John Austin 1879, Charles Edgar 1881, Anne Cecelia 1888, and Marie Elizabeth 1891.

Bye for now,

Eliz. Tang
