Earl Brewer Blakeney and Minnie Merle Blakeney buried in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetary are not the children of Barney & Lillie Blakeney. Earl was born July 22,1913,not 1904. He died in 1990's and is buried in Mobile area where he lived most of his life as a contractor, also his children still live there. Minnie Merle was born November 13,1925, not 2-17-1921. She married John Stephens from Yazoo City, in Laurel 8-10-1944. He died 10-6-1962 in Jacksonville Fl. where he worked as a welder. He is buried in the family plot next to Barney and Lillie in Bay Springs. She then married Joe Murray 10-24-1964 and lived in Dallas, Texas until he died. She now lives in Brandon. These are just a few of the things incorrect in your posting, you have to document & cross reference. You have much information that is correct as well. Good Luck in your research.
