My lineage from Capt. John, my 5-great grandpa: Capt. John >> William >> Thomas >> William >> Belzy Ann Blakeney Baker [my g-grandma] >> Anne Eliz. Baker Holliman >> etc. Thomas [3-great grandpa] came to Fayette Co. AL about 1832, married and had 8 kids. Son William died in Civil War and Thomas reared his orphaned kids. Thomas' house [built 1832] is restored in Newtonville, AL. I have a great deal more info on this line plus photos of Thomas and son William.
