I am interested in your Blakeney family. I am working on the Yarbrough family. I have a Alevia nickname Livi or Leavie that married a Unknown Blakeney. Alevia Yarbrough was born July 1882 possibly in Atascosa Co., TX. Her parents were Lorenzo Dow and Nancy White Yarbrough and their children were born near Yarbrough Bend and Tilden in McMullen Counties and the younger ones were born in Atascosa Counties.

Alevia and her husband Mr. Blakeney lived in or near Hope, Eddy Co., NM. My grandmother says that they went by waggon trian around 1900.

I have virtually no information on this Yarbrough/Blakeney family and thought since your Blakeneys lived in the same proximity you might know of some that migrated to NM.
