Is your father Neil? The date of the marraige is clear in family bible pages as well as a Civil War pension file in Washington. Eric is referred to as Eri and Eli. Sometimes as Blackmun sometimes as Blakeman. No doubt the wedding took place at Eric Blakeman's home in Conquest in February 1844. I could not find Curtis in any of the online census libraries I subscribe to. I know there was a Curtis Chapman in Washington township in 1825 (the year Julia was born there). I strongly suspect Julia is Curtis'oldest daughter. I guess she could have been visiting her parents and was counted there and when the census was taken in Victory her husband provided the data on her.
