Zerah F. Blakely was born about 1838, Gallia County, Ohio and died sometime after September 1900, probably in Wisconsin. He was the son of Zerah Blakely and Laura Wells and half brother of my great grandmother, Hulda Rosalie Blakely. I have the text of a letter written by Zerah F. Blakely September 14, 1900 to his cousin Clara Blakely in which he gives considerable genealogical information on their Blakely ancestry. At that time he was living in Dodge County, Wisconsin where he was ministering to a small Presbyterian Church. He mentions a Libbie, who seems to have been his wife and a daughter Margaret who had gone to Paris, France to study art. A son is mentioned but no name is given. Does anyone recognize these people?
